No.4, Crarae Furnace, Inveraray

No.4 offers panoramic views, with the living room and both bedrooms offering views out over Loch Fyne.  Porpoises, seals and herons are all regular visitors to the loch in front of the cottage, with eagles even being seen from time to time.

The cottage has 2 double bedrooms upstairs, and a living room with wood burner, spacious kitchen, bathroom with shower over bath, and a conservatory (currently used as a utility area - perfect for storing bikes/drying dogs/etc).

It is a super pet-friendly self catering cottage, with no limit on the number of dogs you are allowed to bring! The back garden is fully enclosed, with 4ft+ wooden fencing all the way round (spaced to keep small dogs in too).

The cottage is a great choice for couples, or small families.

Situated right on the edge of Loch Fyne, with access to the shore right across the road, its location is stunning!

Perfect for those with kayaks/boats/SUPs - or those who want to just sit by the big windows and enjoy the views (and the wildlife!).

To the rear of the cottage, the garden backs onto woodlands - and red squirrels as well as pine Martens are regular visitors to the feeder by the back window.  Get inches away from them, without even having to leave the warmth of the living room!

Just 10 minutes from Inveraray, Furnace is handy for escaping the hustle and bustle.  There are good facilities in the village - the Post Office and village shop are open regularly, and serve hot food (including takeaway).  There is also a bar often opens in the village hall at weekends.

There are loads of great walks in the area, with the ability to walk for miles right from the cottage.  The area is popular with cyclists too, with many forest tracks meaning you don't have to cycle on the main road either.

Dog friendly self catering is increasingly popular, and dogs are very welcome at No. 4 - we believe a family holiday should be available to the whole family.  There are even bowls provided for them, along with a hoover/brush/mop for muddy paw prints, and blankets for the sofas.  The whole house is carpeted with the exception of the kitchen, bathroom and stairs, so it should be suitable for older dogs who are nervous of slidey floors.

We do not limit the numbers/size/breed of dogs you can bring.  They are charged at £10 each per week, so we just ask that you confirm in advance the number you are to bringing, and leave the property clean and tidy.

Other pets are welcome too - so whether it's cats, rabbits, or something altogether more exotic, please just ask (we have heard most requests before)!
