The Area
Sitting in Ardrishaig, on the banks of the Crinan Canal between Locks 3 & 4, the property enjoys an enviable position with stunning views out over the canal and to Loch Fyne beyond.
The cottage enjoys the peace and quiet but is only a 2 minute walk to the local shops, museum, restaurant/pub and cafes.
The canal and Loch Fyne are accessible from the property - paddle boarding, kayaking and sailing are all very possible if you bring your equipment (also available to hire within walking distance of the property).
The canal is great for walking along, and is also perfect for cyclists - with Crinan itself (and a great coffee shop!) being around 9 miles away.
Kingfishers can be seen if you keep your eyes open (and camera handy!) along the towpath, and it is also popular with dog walkers.
Happy Trail Cottage is ideally placed to explore Argyll, with ferries to the islands within easy reach, and Oban around an hour up the road.
