Just an hour and a half from Glasgow, this property is ideal for a break away from it all - without having to drive too far. Inveraray offers a whole host of great places to eat and drink, along with some of the best visitor attractions in the area. Take a trip to Inveraray Jail or Castle; then walk up to Dun-na-Cuaiche - the tower that sits over the village; have dinner in The George, just across the road; then watch the sun set over Loch Fyne.
Many of the local restaurants, cafes and attractions are dog-friendly, so there is no need to worry about having to leave your furry friend behind!

The property is situated on the first floor of the Main Street (1 flight of stairs - all on the same level once you are inside). It features:
a spacious living room with comfy sofas, a smart TV and a breakfast bar to the open plan kitchen
a good sized fitted kitchen, with fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, grill/oven/hob and a wide selection of crockery and utensils

Sitting on Loch Fyne, Inveraray was built in the mid-1700s by the 3rd Duke of Argyll on the site of an earlier fishing village.
It is a popular, bustling village with lots of independently owned craft and gift shops, and a number of excellent places to eat and drink.
There is plenty to do without having to travel far - Inveraray Castle (owned and occupied by the Duke & Duchess of Argyll) and Inveraray Jail are within the town itself. Argyll Adventure (horse riding, paintball, archery, laser tag, etc) is situated in the outskirts of the town, and Auchindrain Museum is just a 6 miles south. There are many great walks in the local area too.
With a good central location, it is around an hour up to Oban (with ferries to the various islands of the Inner & Outer Hebrides) - and it is also well placed for exploring both Kintyre and the Cowal peninsula.
